Define the content and arrangement of the standard sections for all DataPages in a segment by editing a template. You can use the default templates that come with a theme and adjust them by editing the current elements and adding more widgets.
  1. In the Designer view, in the DataPages panel, click a segment label.
  2. On the template canvas, add all the elements that you want to display in different sections of the DataPage:
    1. Click the Add elements button.
    2. Drag the element from the Widgets panel onto the canvas in one of the outer sections of the template. The lines that appear while you drag the element over the canvas show the alignment of the widget.
  3. Optional: Edit the size of your widgets:
    1. Click a widget.
    2. In the right panel, in the Widget size section, configure the sizing settings:
      • To set a static size that does not change under any conditions, for the Width and Height parameters, select Fixed, and then enter the dimensions in pixels. The content within the widget that does not fit the size that you set is trimmed.
      • To adjust the size based on the content inside the widget, for the Width and Height parameters, select Auto.
      • To adjust the widget size based on the available space in the panel, for the Width parameter, select Fluid. With this option, the widget occupies all the available space in the panel and adjusts based on the screen dimensions.
The default height and width of the objects in the header or footer panel is Auto. The default width for the objects in the left or right panel is Fluid.
Note: You can also modify the size of a widget by dragging the sizing handles of that widget on the canvas to the desired location. A tooltip shows the size in pixels to help you reach the right dimensions. This method changes the size settings to Fixed.
  4. Optional: Click the widget, and then customize your widget in the Settings section of the right panel:
